Dialog Writer

This is an English simulation game, created in three days, during the 20th game jam of Savvy Community, a French community in Lyon which does game jams approximately each month.

The Savvy theme was "Dissatisfaction" and we mixed this theme with the one of the Weekly Game Jam on itch.io, which was "Café".

We wanted to create a game which has a funnier atmosphere than The Agency of Decay, our previous game.

​

So we came up with the idea of depicting a classical Bar-Café in a small village in France, and the experience of dissatisfaction that the players can inflict to themselves by wanting to collect all the achievements.

For this project, I was in charge of the dialog writing for the mini-game with the regular customers of the bar.

I tried to give them different personnalities, to make the player empathize with them and imagine a world around this café.
