Unfortunately, this video essay is lost. This is why I can only speak of it but not show it.

This was a student work made with the idea of "remake" in mind. I love the work of Stanley Kubrick so I chose to work on his filmography to make something new.

This movie was shown during the Collisions festival at Lux-Scene Nationale in Valence, France.
I took shots from every Kubrick movie and mixed them to create a "labyrinthine" effect. I wanted to show how Stanley Kubrick filmed his environment and how he put his protagonists into different forms of labyrinth.

I decided to work only with footage and music from his movies. It was really motivating to create a video essay without using the usual story structure centered around a protagonist. Instead I used only environment and atmosphere to keep the audience's attention.
